“DISCUSSION WITH PRADHAN ABOUT THE PROBLEMS IN VILLAGE”

BRIEF ABOUT THE ACTIVITY
Under the Village Adoption Policy (VAP), a team of VAP volunteers from Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies visited Faridpur Gram Panchayat. This team included ten students and two teacher members. During the visit, village issues were discussed between the Pradhan and local community members and VAP volunteers. The discussion was mainly on the problems faced by the villagers in their daily lives. During the discussion it was realized that there is an urgent need to increase awareness about the importance of environment among the students and villagers. Dr. Ashish, a faculty member of LPCPS suggested organizing a plantation program, which was warmly welcomed by the Pradhan. Mr. Chetan Khanna, another faculty member from LPCPS, was assigned the responsibility for this initiative.
विलेज एडॉप्शन पॉलिसी (वैप) के तहत, लखनऊ पब्लिक कॉलेज ऑफ प्रोफेशनल स्टडीज के वैप वॉलंटियर्स की टीम ने फरीदपुर ग्राम पंचायत का दौरा किया। इस टीम में दस छात्र और दो शिक्षक सदस्य शामिल थे। दौरे के दौरान, प्रधान और स्थानीय समुदाय के सदस्यों एवम् वैप वॉलंटियर्स के बीच गांव के मुद्दों पर बातचीत हुई। चर्चा मुख्य रूप से गाँववालों की दिनचर्या में आने वाली समस्याओं पर थी। चर्चा के दौरान यह अनुभव हुआ कि छात्रों एवम् गाँववालों में पर्यावरण के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने की एक अत्यावश्यक जरूरत है। डॉ. आशीष, एलपीसीपीएस (LPCPS) के एक शिक्षक सदस्य ने इस विषय पर पौधा रोपड़ कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने का सुझाव दिया, जिसका प्रधान ने खुशी से स्वागत किया। एलपीसीपीएस के एक और शिक्षक सदस्य श्री मान चेतन खन्ना को इस जिम्मेदारी का भार सौंपा गया।
